THE DISH CAUGHT UP WITH ORLAGH AND HENRIETTA, (THE FOUNDERS BEHIND CHELSEA’S KING’S ROAD CLOTHING POP-UP, RIXO, TO FIND OUT THEIR STYLE PICKS ON WHAT WE SHOULD BE WEARING THIS SUMMER.
Orlagh: It’s important to wear something comfortable, but that you also feel great in. Our Coleen dress looks great with trainers for more casual days or dress up with mules for a big meeting. It also seamlessly transitions from day to night – if you have an evening event simply pair with some strappy heels and you’re good to go.
Henrietta: Our classic Georgia skirt is great for a summer BBQ or brunch. I wear mine with a chunky knit and Dr Martens in the colder months and swap out for a vintage t-shirt and sandals or ballet flats when it heats up.
Orlagh: Our Ariel dress will see you right through wedding season! It comes in a yellow tulip print, which is lovely for a summer wedding, as well as a purple and red print. Style her up with one of our shell clasp bags, statement jewellery and heels.
Henrietta: Our Sienna Leopard print duster jacket or Gracie wrap skirt work well for a holiday, whether you’re heading for a city break or beach getaway. Wear them as a cover up over the top of one of our printed bikinis to take you from the beach to lunch or keep it simple for a city break and pair our Gracie with crisp white t-shirt The same goes for our Twiggy dress in Monochrome Tiger – it’s lightweight and easy-to-wear, so it’s a great piece to pack for a trip away!
